Hi there!
I'm trying to install Debian GNU/Linux on a Sun Ultra 30 (an old model
no more sold).
My problem is: How can I install the X Windows on it? First, during the
installation process the graphics wasn´t detect.
Until today I've installed Linux only in PC architecture, never on a Sparc.

Unfortunately, this trace is nonsensical. It looks like this server
has been stripped? It must be getting arbitrary (nearest) symbols
or something. XAACopyArea cannot call XAAInitAccel, and the
sequence in fb is even worse. This does seem to indicate that
the problem occured in the fb (so

Are you saying you want to be able to touch both
Get the new module from
http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh
or get the CVS and compile yourself.

the Xinerama-Option commented out, everything starts fine (I have my
windowmanager on the big screen and a grey second screen). But when I

Natascha,
You probably also want to add a section in your XF86Config file that
has this.
Section "ServerFlags"
NoTrapSignals
EndSection
That would give a better picture for the gdb trace.
