How can I get a KeyPress event through, the
XPeekEvent?
By using this, XPeekEvent, I can get the KeyRelease event, but I couldnt get the
keypress event. I just want to send one KeyPress and KeyRelease event to the

Hi,
I bought a Magic-Pro ATI Radeon 7500LE graphics card. Does the
XFree86 4.2 support it?
Which version of kernel or what kernel module is required?
When I connect the graphics card to a NEC 18 LCD 1810X MultiSync (with
DVI), there are lots of horizontal lones flickering on the screen.
It was just a question of whether or not the libraries are actually
needed. I'm building a nice, clean, (unofficial), set of 4.2 debs. I
just wanted to make certain they aren't needed and prevent them from
getting into the XF86Config.4. Thanks.

My system is a Compaq M700 laptop, plus an ArmadaStation EM docking station.
The ArmadaStation EM has PCI slots (via a PCI to PCI bridge built into the

i'm playing with the shadow frame buffer a bit, and I have a question:

my output device is expecting each pixel to be contained in a 32 bit word,

24 bit is ambiguous. depth != bpp
my output device is expecting each pixel to be contained in a 32 bit word,
That's 32bpp.

Thanks for your response...
While I peek the event using XPeekEvent, the only event available is
KeyRelease, because, we can enter into the Xlookupstring function, only after
the KeyPress happens, so in the queue, the available event is KeyRelease only.

You'll want to be running 4.2 (we don't support older servers).
Which card is the primary? ie, which one does the console come up
on?
Mark.
