I use FreeRDP and from following that I'd ask about 8 months ago whether
xrdp would also be updated to support the same level of RemoteApp/RemoteFX
type capabilities from a Linux server that
can be provided from a Windows 2008 etc server and the answer was.. yes
someday ... that it was being lo
If using xrdp 0.7.0, you need to make a change to the X11rdp source code prior
to compiling. I would not use the X11RDP-o-Matic from ScaryGliders as it does
not make this change.

I've asked this question a couple of times, but have gotten no responses, so
maybe nobody has had this problem?
I will have users who have logged out or disconnected in some way try to log
back in and they pass the authentication layer but get a debug message from
XRDP that states "error:
I pushed a check for MSTSC to master. If mstsc, the server will not
do Pixmap to Pixmap blits.
It sets g_can_do_pix_to_pix to false if the off screen cache size does
not appear to be what freerdp sets.
