by PolicyKit. If you want to change this, you need to look at rights
defined in /etc/polkit-1 and in /usr/share/polkit-1. Usually, there is
an alternative way to get those rights, for example being in a special
group like "netdev".

A released tarball would help. This was also a problem with 0.5 which
was released without a tarball and we didn't know exactly what was
0.5.

Hi!
There is actually a bug in xrdp 0.5 that prevents to reuse an existing
session, even when the requested parameters are compatible. Daniel
Baumann has found the root of this bug and proposed a patch here:
http://bugs.debian.org/573258
I also attach the patch to this message.

I am a bit late with the request from Norman to use a separate

Hi!
When the user is connecting to xrdp and asks for an unknown layout, the
keyboard is just not working at all. From the source code, I see in

and the built-in layout is kept if there is no matching file. However, I

Here is a patch to use 0x409 keymap when no keymap file is

Hi!
A user of xrdp reported this bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=584666
In summary, the '@' sign does not work on a german keyboard with WinXP
TS client but works fine with "rdesktop -k de". Keymaps have been
regenerated.

Hello !
When xrdp uses tightvncserver, a program using XStoreBuffer cause the
session to terminate. This does not happend with vnc4server. The
complete bug report is available here:
http://bugs.debian.org/600543
The bug report includes a simple program to reproduce the problem:

Maybe some ideas can be taken from this project:

ckage/xrdp/0.5.0~20100303cvs-6
Currently, xrdp is not scheduled for the next Debian release because of
some build bugs. I did not look at them because I think they are now
fixed somewhere but I am lost between versions too. A 0.5 version would
help to get back in tracks.
