Status Update:
You may have noticed that September went by, together with CPython 3.13 which
was released earlier this week, so we’re currently behind “schedule”.
I think most of the large PRs we wanted in were merged already, but a couple of
them remain up for review.

recent merge of https://github.com/yt-project/yt/pull/4939 (that will no doubt
be the highlight of the release notes)
