was alive over a year ago---I have seen this set & passed it onmany many

That is understandable - because many others also do not follow protocol...
Sacred Rule #1: don't change the subject line (you didn't, thank you). This is 
the one rule that can really muck up the works when not followed.
You might try another search (or two, or 3) and change the keywords - try VO 
MITB, VO Music Is The Best, or Music Is The Best. Also, when you do find a 
reference message, try searching all the messages for that particular month, in 
case the SR#1 above was not followed. Sometimes that can help narrow things 
down...

Tough to say... From this message, it should have gone from JohnG to Del Bonner 
- and Del was last according to this...
I thought Del quit the group a while ago, but that might have been a different 
email account.
Regardless, vines are not supposed to "die" - the last to receive is obligated 
to pass it on, so it should still be available from the last active member to 
receive it.

I see that Greg was interested and a wise decision as this is a nice 8 disc
set of rare Zappa music. Should there come a time when no one is interested
we do have the vine orphanage in the data base section. With new people

I don't know if this was a typo or not, so I will elucidate. MITB is not a 
'zine' (online magazine), but a 'vine' (a set of CD's that are passed thru the 
membership to copy). I'm probably worrying for nothing, but just in 
case...
