This is an unrelated (?) problem to what I described in my other post.
My situation is pretty unusual: I have a tiny PC called eBox-2300 that
runs at 200Mhz. This PC is running Puppy Linux with a 2.6.18.1 kernel.
The box has USB 1.1 ports.

I noticed the same problem on a MMU-less ARM7 board. I had an
unaligned access problem in the sending part. I was suspecting
there might be similar unaligned access problem on the receiving part
but have not got time to figure this out yet.
Are you running on a PC?

USB 1.1 is not well tested, and while I wouldn't expect it to make a lot
of difference to th
