Daniel Drake wrote: You compiled a kernel with zd1211rw built directly into the kernel (Y). You then booted into this kernel. That's what I did at first, because I rarely use modules (my hardware almost never changes). Meanwhile I cleaned the whole mess and did it again as a module.
