OK, I will fuck it up myself. Â BTW, Gaylord is the name of a famous Indian restaurant here, so I cannot violate the patent law. You might as well change your name to Gaylord or Gaywad. The idea that you need some fucking cocksucker to lead you anywhere is fucking lame-O. Get a grip on your life and fuck it up yourself and then work your way out of your mistakes by learning from those that God puts in your path. If that means going to a Buddhist Temple or a mental asylum, so be it. But even if some smirking asshole sensei gives you a certificate that says you are enlightened, you can wipe your ass with that unless you feel it and earned it and do something with it. Maybe that means that you become a teacher, or maybe that means that you get a fucking job and enjoy whatever you are doing and put your guts and your soul into that. Do something meaningful with your life, like helping others, supporting your family members, charities, etc. Be a person who gives, not some lamedick gimp asking for charity so that you can sit on your ass and wonder what life means. [Zen] Moderators Wanted?
I have no interest in participating in this group this year, so I would like to find someone who can handle the moderator duties. This entails deleting spam, banning spammers, and reading the emails in order to take people off moderated status if they are halfway normal and put people back on moderated status if they describe any graphic sexual activities or post pornography. You must also check the link sections and files sections and photo albums for pornography or links to non-zen websites, etc. Please nominate yourself to the group so that a winner can be chosen by popular acclamation and/or by my choice, depending on who it is. Re: [Zen] Moderators Wanted?
I'd be happy to moderate the group if you wish. I already moderate a number of science oriented groups so am familiar with what is required, and it would be just a little extra effort. Re: [Zen] ROLL CALL
Mayka, I appreciate your understanding on this. I agree, I have experienced the ability to remain detatched from other's perspectives, no matter how negative. The longer I have stayed away from my practice, the more I found that "little" things can bother me. I am happy to say I have resumed my practice and it is going well. I have started re- visiting the temple I sent you info on in the past. Thank you for your participation. Edgar Owen < I'd be happy to moderate the group if you wish. I already moderate a number of science oriented groups so am familiar with what is required, and it would be just a little extra effort. > Dear Edgar, thanks for your interest. You are a very nice person, and I enjoy reading your observations. I am going to keep the offer open for a few more days so that everyone can have a shot. I would not mind adding more than one assistant moderator. Keep in mind, that your duties, responsibilities, and power will be very limited. You can ban those you do not like, but only after verbally humiliating them in true Zen Forum fashion. Bill will be the ultimate authority on all issues regarding sarcasm and humiliation. You will not be able to stay at the Zen Forum retreat lodge or my private mansion until you have worked as an assistant moderator for at least one year. You will be eligible for vacations in Japan, 401K, pension plan, casino pass, profit-sharing, and Vegas trips depending on your ability to recruit gullible members of this group who are willing to pay the monthly membership fee of $25.00 per month and a dollar per post. I just want you to understand that the last assistant moderator (2003- 2004) hated me bitterly because she did not understand the concept of me screwing around with people for the sake of my entertainment. I hope that my joking does something positive for the victims, but it always provides sarcastic entertainment for me. I see that as win- win. I have curtailed that side of my moderator activities over the past few years, but lately I find it hard not to return to the old ways. I am burned out again. I guess that means that I need a break from this group, so that I can step back and appreciate all the good people that are here. In spite of my best efforts, this is a really good group of very nice people. I would like to come back with the Beginner's Mind and feel the love and the strength of the ideas and people.
