The lamp is Truth, not whatever truths people
I always thought Buddha's Truth is just reality, just the current
moment, akin to Bill!'s JUST THIS. It does seem to be true that the
current moment, when I am not so upset as to miss it, the correct path
is plainly evident. Not truth but Truth - not an enumerable, verbal
list of thoughts, but

Buddha always adjusted monastic rules (vinaya), based on circumstances and
time. When he was dying, he reminded of the adjustments, but had no time to
realize. A lot of puzzles have been left since. His words led to diversions he
had trouble imagining. Now Mahayanist monks run busness
