Check your snmp.conf file - make sure it's set to allow read from the
Zenoss system. Maybe try using FQDN or 127.0.0.1 rather than
localhost.localdomain ...

I want to monitor my windows machine throw WMI , but after i install WMI and
try to do it here comes the problem:
zenwinmodelerERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access is denied. (5)

from the error i see that you DID enter a user

try after adding the user restart the WMI service :)
post if you got it working [Wink]
I tried but the errors still appear :
Code:
zenwin
/ÂStatus/ÂWmi/ÂConn
ERROR_NET_WRITE_FAULT: A write fault occurred on the network. (88)
here is some information
Code:
$ZENHOME/Products/WindowsWMIDeviceTemplateV2/libexec/check_wmic_network.pl
192.168.1.104 user pwd
I try this command to test the connection to the windows machine
but it didn't work
I have an account with full privilege on the windows machine and use the
username and password but
hi all , I add a mib with rhe command below and get messages like :
Code:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# /usr/local/zenoss/bin/zenmib run
/usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs/site/HUAWEI-MIB.zip --debug
INFO:zen.zenmib:Skipping file
/usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs/irtf/IRTF-NMRG-SMING-EXTENSIONS
I think i figure out this problem by adding :
Code:
export ZENHOME=/usr/local/zenoss
export PYTHONPATH=$ZENHOME/lib/python
export PATH=$ZENHOME/bin:$PATH
and you should run the command
Code:
zenmib run
with the zenoss user

Read this
I've been trying to use winexe but always get the error :
# ./opt/zenoss/bin/winexe -U root%root //192.168.1.100 'notepad.exe'
ERROR: Failed to install service winexesvc - NT_STATUS_NET_WRITE_FAULT
I hava a user named root with full privilege on my windows machine but it still
can't work , also
command ...?
Do you have a firewall running anywhere between Zenoss and the windows
computer?
