The regular mount/umount commands can only be used if you have the filesystems present in /etc/vfstab. To create a zfs filesystem with the idea of using mount/umount you must specify 'mountpoint=legacy'. Now you can 'mount /d/d5' ... as per regular ufs. Zpools don't need mountpoints ... ie
