Hi All,
While creating zones using zonemgr, I specified netmask as
255.255.255.240 but zonemgr scripts converts it to CIDR 29 instead of
28.
Any idea on this?
Thanks

Something like this in zonecfg should do the trick:
add fs
set dir=/mnt
set special=/mnt
set type=lofs
add options rw
No, I wouldn't expect that to work. That'll export just the /mnt
directory itself (read-write to the non-global zone!). Any sub-mounts
that appear there
If your zone need to write to /usr then you should create a whole root
zone (rather than inherit /usr from the global zone).

What version are you using? It looks like this works right in version
1.8.1:

Doh; I tried with nfs mounts. You're right.

Hi,
Possibly a discrepancy between the man page and U4 functionality? I'm
on Solaris x86 U4, and
# zoneadm clone -s tank/[EMAIL PROTECTED] zone1
-s: illegal option --s
The -s is clearly documented in the man page.

Is it possible to share a zfs dataset that has been added to a labeled zone?
We are running Solaris 10 U4 w/ TX on x86. Currently, we have a zfs file system
named zone/restricted. We have a labeled zone named “restricted” loaded to this
zfs. The global path is /zone/restricted. We have
