[zones-discuss] Zones on multiple subnets

2009-02-24 Thread Bangalore, Suresh
Hi Gurus

I need to setup zones as shown below.
Zone1: 10.10.10.X with default router 10.10.10.1
Zone2: 10.10.20.X with default router 10.10.20.1
And Global zone 10.10.30.X with default router 10.10.30.1

Is this achievable. As shown above, I need the zones to have a separate
default router than the default router for the global zone.

I don't have the luxury of using dedicated ports to achieve this.
Any suggestions/workarounds are greatly appreciated.

Platform: Solaris 10 Update 6

Thanks
Suresh

[zones-discuss] /dev/ttyp* to non-global zone

2007-10-07 Thread Bangalore, Suresh
Hi Gurus

We have a non-global zone which is currently configured, installed and
running.
Now Customer wants to add /dev/ttyp* to the non-global zone.

Tried adding to the zonecfg using adding
device
match: /dev/ttyp*

and then rebooted the zone. This doesn't work.
Is there any way to configure this without uninstalling and reinstalling
the zone again.

Thanks
Suresh
