[Zope] How to ensure modified script in external Methods come into use...

hi, I have modified the external medthod. I want to know how to test whether the modified method is being used Is it by default that the modified script is used or i have to do something to see that the changed script is being used .. I mean the external method is in the Zope/Extensions
