Answer: Yes. :-) I disagree. Zope 3 came out 2004-ish and even now there no support for connection to Corporate databases via ODBC on the windows platform. You can't even buy it from egenix. I am aware that Z3 features are being gradually phased in but I have yet to see an existing or new CMS to claim that it is the first true third generation CMS based on Zope's third generation foundation. Facts? Links? The jump to Zope 3 is a huge one, and it is no surprise that existing CMS's have not yet made it. I personally believe that the Zope 3 architecture is very compelling, and we are trying to leverage some of that for Plone. If you want to see an actual CMS implemented fully in Zope 3 you many want to look at Tiks, http://www.tiks.org/ . A large non-CMS application making use of Zope 3 is SchoolTool. There are many resources on the net describing the features and advantages of Zope 3. In Zope 2.8.1, In recent modified link it was always reflecting owners name, not the person who modified the file. Zope2 doesn't have a recent modified link, and I don't think Zope3 does either. So it's most likely a Plone feature you are talking about, and hence has nothing to do with Zope 2.8.1. Hi, Right now I'm using Zope 2.8.1 with interface of plone 2.1.1 and Python 2.3.5. I'm planning to upgrade the version interested in migrate to ZOPE3.2 . Before that I need to know one thing. " Does Zope3.2 provides support to check last modified person's name in recent modified tab. ?"
