We're still missing someone from grok and I just send a reminder on

You can enlist me as representative for Grok. Knowing of course that I
can count on the grok-dev list's help.

regards and thanks for coordinating this.

I assume at least someone from every project is listening here, so I
 suggest the following:

 * grok and BlueBream: please check within your own sub-communities for
someone you'd like to represent you in the draft of what the ZTK 1.0
should look like and who is willing to help with it.

Hi!

I will be the representative for BlueBream, since Baiju is already doing an
enormous amount of work and he needs help.

Let's wait a little bit more for a caveman to stand up for Grok, and we can
start discussing about the release of the ZTK 1.0.
This should probably happen soon, because Grok 1.1 and BB 1.0 are currently
using the same versions and are about to be released.

 * Zope 2: In theory I'd suggest the Zope 2 release manager. In practice
I'd like to nominate Hanno because he's been very active with Zope 2
recently and already has done work on the ZTK before. (Hanno: sorry.
*duck*)

We don't have a complete set of tasks/issues for the release yet,
 however, here's a few:

 * Find a definition of 'ZTK release' that fits all consumers
 * Establish actual task list and work on it
 * Ensure we have windows binaries

We don't have a schedule to follow, but I think we can get started
within the next weeks (read that as soon as we have the staffing issues
 out of the way).

 Cheers,
 Christian

Jan-Wijbrand, do you feel like helping out or could you find someone
to do so for Grok?

I think the three of us might be able to actually get something done ;-)

Since I just stepped up as the Zope2 release manager, I'd be happy to
be involved and help out with this. Pending any objections against me
as a release manager that is :)

I'm probably not going to be able to drive the ZTK process. I think
the first release should be driven by the needs of BlueBream and Grok.
I'll be happy to voice my opinion and my concerns from a Zope2
(Plone?) standpoint. And make sure that the overall release process of
the ZTK ensures the same sort of stability and release timespans, that
will allow Zope2 to use it.

Great!

I'm probably not going to be able to drive the ZTK process.

And I don't think you should, because honestly, some other people need
to work too, sometimes. :)
But as the Zope 2 representative in the ZTK release manager
comm...kaba...group, you'd be perfect.
