ASK THE EXPERT
Moving local account's profile to domain account's profile
Dear Expert,
Can you rename a profile in order to capture all settings, registry and everything? I have a user on a local machine and have added her to the domain. This has created a user.EMEA profile. Can I rename that to the user's name and create her account like that?

THE MISSING LINK
Chip implant helps get dog back

Doggone it! A dog from Florida is gone no more thanks to a piece of technology. Make no bones about it, though. Things were looking pretty bleak for Pooh Bear the Pomeranian, who strayed from home six years ago. A vet in Cincinnati -- 620 miles away -- found the pooch, scanned the microchip implanted in her skin when she was just a pup and returned the dog to her overjoyed owners. Remarkably, Pooh Bear's health hadn't gone to the dogs. They say every dog has its day but this was one nobody thought would ever dawn.
