Webcast #2: SearchWin2000.com Expert Webcast
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TITLE: Building and managing multiple forest Active Directory
implementations
WHEN: November 14, 2002 at 2:00 PM EST (19:00 GMT)
SPEAKER: Howard Marks, author
PRE-REGISTER: http://searchWin2000.com/r/0,,7326,00.htm
SPONSOR: Aelita http://www.aelita.com
TOPIC:
Despite the propaganda you may have heard it isn't always desirable,
or even possible, to achieve all your directory needs in a single
forest. Technical, security, regulatory, business and of course
political needs can all justify building a multiple forest directory.
During this webcast, author Howard Marks will cover:
**  Deciding how many forests you need
**  Managing cross forest access
**  Synchronizing email addresses and other data between forests
**  And more!
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Howard Marks literally wrote the book -- Networking Windows -- on
making Windows run on NetWare networks and has been in the thick of
networking Windows ever since. His client list includes BBDO
Worldwide, Borden Foods, BBN Planet (now Genuity) and Seagate
Software. Last summer, Marks' presentation on Windows 2000 Boot Camp
was one of TechxNY's most popular sessions.
