Would you like the opportunity to hear presentations from author Mark Minasi, security expert Roberta Bragg, Gartner Group's John Enck and many other leading experts in person? They are among the speakers at this year's Enterprise Windows Decisions conference in Chicago this May.

If you attend, you'll discover concrete examples of how to lower your TCO, effectively navigate Microsoft's product life cycles and new licensing programs, understand the pros and cons of emerging non-Microsoft alternatives, address critical security concerns -- and much more. Attendance is free, so apply now.

I'd also like to announce that we are now taking nominations for the Innovator Awards presented by SearchWin2000.com. Our Windows Scalability and Windows Manageability awards will be given out at Enterprise Windows Decisions. If you know an end user company that is blazing new trails in the deployment of Windows-centric computing, nominate them today!

    Site Exclusives:
    >> Microsoft shakes up certification program
It's official. Microsoft has released details on changes to its certification programs. The details may make your life easier -- if you're certified in Windows 2000, you will have to study for only two exams to become certified in Windows 2003.

    >> Commentary: Stay away from brain dumps
Just say no to brain dumps? In this commentary, SearchWin2000.com certification expert Ed Tittel explains why the temptation to feed your head at a brain dump just isn't worth the risks.

    >> IT departments great and small seek server-monitoring tools
Windows administrators at big and small companies alike are looking for ways to monitor their servers, but not just any way. Cost and simplicity constitute a key combination.

    >> Oops! True IT blooper #94: The rules of attraction
What do you do when your client's magnetic personality is so overpowering that it's rubbing off negatively on his hardware? A technician's ability to think outside the box kept this computer workstation from an untimely death in the blooper zone.

    Tip of the Week:
Let multiple users share the same mailbox
The normal rule about mailboxes in Exchange is simple and fairly obvious: one user, one mailbox and vice versa. That said, there may be a need for multiple users, each with their own unique credentials, having access to the same mailbox. For instance, some organizations set up a shared mailbox that is supervised by several different users, perhaps for answering questions or for manual forwarding. To set up multiple accounts on the same mailbox, open Exchange Administrator, then open the Properties of the mailbox in question.
