Simply right-click on the OU that will contain the new group in the Active Directory Users and Computers console and select New, Group from the pop-up menu. Next provide the group name, select a group type, and select a group scope. Once the group is created you can manage its memberships. Easy, right? Not so fast, once the group is created you will need to make a few decisions that will affect how the group works. All too often, this indicates that your domain controller is no longer able to access a time authority server with which to synchronize. By default, every time a server boots, it attempts to synchronize its time code with an authority in the domain.
