The malicious code arrives in an e-mail purporting to be a Windows XP service pack mailed from the Microsoft domain. NEWS Apache outstrips Microsoft in Web server share (Silicon.com) The number of Web sites that use Apache as their Web server software rose from 22 million to 31 million in 2003, an increase of 40%, according to new research from Netcraft. In comparison, Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) declined slightly in 2003, going from 9.74 million sites to 9.68 million.
