I'm new to this list, but what has been the group's experience with Meetup.com as a means of bringing current and would-be Pythonistas together? Too much overhead? Too much dilution? Haven't tried it yet?
The Seattle Py group has hundreds of registered members, but no activity in 12 months. The Seattle PyLadies group is smaller, but evidently much more active. End of list.
