You mentioned that your linux usernames matched the Windows usernames, but you 
didn't mention whether or not your linux passwords matched the Windows 
passowrds.

If your linux user passwords match the Windows users passwords, you shouldn't 
have to do anything to match them up...at least, I didn't.
