We at the company have had BAD experiences with HP burners and their
related support in Argentina (not Linux related). OTOH, we've excellent
experiences with HP printers...

Subject: Any comment on these CD burners?
Hello,
I have RH 7.1 with cdrecord 1.9 installed, and have found
good deals for all the CD burners listed below. I *have* already
found on the corresponding howto that they are supported, but before
buying one, I would like to hear something more on them, i.e. if there
are any specific gotchas under RH 7.1, which model/brand is
faster/more reliable etc...
Consider that I don't care as much for speed as I do for
reliability/durability, as I'll be using it mainly to
backup weekly my work (i.e. add 90/100 MB to a CD once per week until
it's full) and, (very) occasionally, some audio CD or custom Linux
install disk
Any feedback is welcome!
Ciao,
Marco Fioretti
