  That's not the case.
  I checked the first CD yet, with:

  dd if=/dev/scd0 bs=1k count=xxxx | md5sum

  The CD gave me the right checksum, as ftp'ed from ftp.redhat.com

  One, and only one final conclusion:

  'rpm -F --force readline-9.4.1' didn't replace the
/usr/lib/libreadline.so.4.1 file.

  So, as I don't want to remove the readline package, then install it (
dependencies problems ), could you give me the right way I should use to
replace the package?
