Hi,
I learnt a few facts to make connectivity to my Linux box work.

Firstly, check the /etc/xinetd.d/rlogin and /etc/xinetd.d/telnet
files. The line "disable=yes" should be changed to "disable=no".

Secondly, you will need the rsh-server rpm to be installed onto
your linux box to enable remote connectivity to your Linux m/c.

You will want to reboot the Linux m/c to see the new changes in
        effect.

- Please try the above options ........

- These steps will generally get things running for you

- Hope all this helps

- Bye
