The issue seems to be that the NetMos 9805, say, can support either
one or two parallel ports, and maybe a serial port or two, and in any
configuration it has the same PCI IDs. I don't know how to
distinguish between the various situations.

The list of supported cards is at

Linus-released kernels, not Red Hat-released kernels.
