well, no ... not if you actually understood my point. i wasn't complaining about rh 7.2 not being out yet. my gripe was that they gave out all the *signals* of the impending release, then ... nothing. it's been two weeks now since the 7.2 directory showed up and roswell went off-line, and in that time, we've all been holding our collective breath. quite simply, while red hat likes to say that they *never* pre-announce new releases (for perfectly good reasons), it's ironic that they've done exactly that here. if they weren't ready to put it out, they should have kept totally quiet and just let things go on as normal. and we should all have woken one morning to a brand new, shiny 7.2 at ftp.redhat.com. by "pre-announcing" 7.2 this way, red hat has done nothing but kill their revenue stream, since no one is going to buy 7.1 knowing that 7.2 is just around the corner. this could have been done much more smoothly. just one geek's opinion. rday _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
