I got this off of a newsgroup. It is by no means credible, nor do I say it is, just sharing information I find.
Apparently the FTP goes live and the various boxed editions will be available in the stores from Oct 22nd 2001. This is what I'm being told at work, but unfortunately it's unconfirmed by any distributor. I'm desperate to have RHL7.2 Pro delivered before Nov 1st, and I'm holding on in the hope that it will appear on the above mentioned date. 7.1 is now too dated and I need to buy a boxed edition of Linux (preferably Red Hat for familiarity) for multi-machine support. I just wish Red Hat would issue the release date in a press release so I can make my purchase decision quickly. Best regards :) -- Lee J.
