Who's installing RH on XP ???? Do it the other way around, please! Make RHLinux the host os.
Use Linux as the main/host OS. Use VMWARE 3.0 for Linux, and install WinXP as guest OS in a /win dir or mnt pt formatted as ext2 or 3, and setup VMware for virtual disk when installing XP ....... VMware only supports IDE controller (ata/33) so to get ata/66/100+ performance you need to let Linux do the disk access, and doing a vmware virtual disk for XP gets you there. If you do a raw disk (real disk or 2nd physical drive) for XP, then VMware can only see it if its on a ata/33 IDE controller, so performance is low. _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
