Hello everyone in linuxland, i was wondering if there is anyone out there
haveing problems with hpx4000,s when booting. The isssue im having when
booting is it seems to hang when probeing the scsi bus, i have looked all
over the redhat erratas and only found one fix, which is to upgrade the
kernel, and currently this is not an option that i can do, because of
development/application issues. The problem is very intermittant, the
system uses a qlogic chipset for scsi, and the module loaded is sym53c8xx.
The kernel version is 2.4.9-6smp on linux redhat 7.1 .How would i enable
debuging for this in the kernel, or logging? The errata also says another
fix is to boot only off one processesor, wich is not an option for my app
lication.Thanks everyone
