Our Client is a provider of security configuration management software. 
They offer a unique solution for the security market that allows for 
consolidation of security management while providing a centralized, single 
point to shut down network attacks. They have key industry partnerships 
with Cisco, Nortel, IBM Global Services, Netscreen, Checkpoint and HP and 
over 150 deployed customers world wide.

*The Senior Management team includes Security industry veterans.    

General Sales Info:
The average deal is $100,000 per sale. Average sales cycle is 3-9 months. 
Client has a lead generation program in place and will be hiring Inside 
Sales person in the near future to support outside sales efforts. The 
company provides monthly webinars and attends most major trade shows.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop high level relationships across the various departments at Fortune 
1000 accounts. The focus will be on selling the solution to primarily the 
Networking and Security contacts within an organization such as the 
Director of Infrastructure, the Director of Networking, Head of Network 
Engineering as well as the Corporate Global Security officers. You will be 
driving a direct sales model. Primary focus will be on creating new 
customers and expanding the use in their existing customers, presenting 
the solution to Director and VP level contacts. You will utilize 
technology such as Placeware to set up remote demonstrations and 
presentations. 

Qualifications:
Education:  Four year degree, preferably in business.
Background:10 years+ prior experience selling to Fortune 1000 market in 
the Midwest,Southeast/Southwest with at least 3-5 years in the
security sector. 
Technology: Experience and or knowledge of Security Software, Firewalls, 
Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Anti-virus solutions and general 
security technology. Prior experience selling networking technology 
desired as well.

Locations:
Midwest- Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis or other major metro area
Southeast/West- Atlanta, Charlotte, RTP, Dallas or other major metro
