Ok...I think I've found what I like on egghead, a Belkin OmniCube.  Now,
if you all can help me with another thing....

I haven't a clue what you call a patch cable for a moniter or PS/2
cables.  I mean, I know the standard ports' patch cables (DB25
Male/Male), but not a clue as to what I would get to patch the monitor
and keyboard / mouse signals with.
