Well, my turn for the seekin, cause I'm not immediately findin this.
:-)
OK... I have two systems, a tower that I'm running as a Linux box, and
an HP Pavilion notebook with a dockstation. Now of course, the purpose
of the dockstation is to use full size screen and such when I'm not on
the go. But...I also need those rhings for the Linux box when I'm using
it, which creates a problem. My idea of switching computers does not
entile having to unplug everything and shove it into the other system.
So...what I'm looking for is a BIG switchstation, where I plug
everything into, and depending on where the swtich is thrown, route it
there. Now I know that there are AB swithces for printers, but what I'm
looking for entails the whole gaggle of peripheral devices....
Thanks for any help....
Oh, secondary question:
Alan, what's a policy on personal auctions on eBay? I started to write
a msg in case anyone was interested, but then I got to
thinking...although advertising it could be thought of doing so for your
financial gain, but aslo the item could be what someone is looking for.
Lastly, in the end the high bidder may not nessacerily be on the list.
I'm glad this hasn't come up yet s an issue on my lists, cause as an
administrator I'm stumped as to which edge of the line this leans to.
Hence my hesitation in posting....
