I'd be interested in your method also. Do you get rid of the high
frequency noise by choosing a codec with low bandwidth (for example a
slow encoding, or one designed for "voice" recording?)? I have been
toying with recording some of my old collection of 78's and scratched up
jazz LP's to digital.
