Let me add this site to the sites Curt found for you:

"An Illustrated Guide to CPU Improvements"

In the SeeknFind MoLinks page, there is a listing of links to Search
Tutorials and Guides and other helpful sites:

http://seeknfind.ashlists.org/MoLinks.htm

Scroll down to the heading: *Links to Help You Learn to Search Better*

And remember this...the best tutorial for a particular search engine,
is it's own Help pages. Be sure and find the Help page for any search
engine you are going to use and take a few minutes to read their own
advice to you.

As your studies progress, let me give you a little tip. Don't waste
your time with Boolean Operands such as "AND, OR or NOT". It's been my
experience that results are not always the best when you use Boolean
Logic. Instead, make greater use of the so-called "Mathematical"
symbols, such as "+" and "-" with those search engine sites that allow
them. Most of the better search engines do allow them.
