I read the entire Virginia code located at 
http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+TOC55000000013000020000000  
and it does not state what the landlord MUST provide to us since our apt will not be 
habitable during those 3-7 days of repair. We will have no kitchen, and no bathroom 
facilities.  Can we find somewhere where it stipulates that they must pay for other 
alternative lodging at a hotel?  Hmmmm...
