HI Richard,

Many years ago, late-1970s, there was a geophysical comparison exercise
at Cobar, NSW over - I think - the Elura deposit. I went out with Nigel
Edwards in Dec 1979 to conduct an MMR survey over it. My understanding
was that geophysicists were invited to come to Cobar and use their
favourite technique to see if they could "see" the deposit. Most
techniques imaged well the chemical alteration in the regolith, but few
saw the conductor in the basement.

Perhaps our Oz friends can give you more info.

There was a lot of TEM and SIROTEM done over it by Brian Spies.
