Hi Richard, I usually point people to the mineral assessment files for data. Newfoundland, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (?) all require the digital geophysical data filed for assessment. So think of a deposit in these provinces and search for the recent airborne surveys. The one deposits that come to mind is Caber in Quebec which may be of interest to your student as the overburden thickness changes almost right over the vertical extent of the deposit. Almost all of the modern systems have been flown over it and there are borehole EM and ground EM surveys over the deposit and at least one NI43-101 report on the deposit to give drilling information.
