Hi Richard,

The Wedgetail (Ni) Deposit at Honeymoon Well is a great example. The attached
paper contains physical properties, geological descriptions and cross sections
for reference.

Be sure the student looks at the difference between having the conductor in
contact with the overburden and then just below (5m). The response is a lot
different.

Good luck.

Cheers

Barry

Subject: [SEGMIN] Example of an EM conductor below an overburden

I have a student that is working on a program to forward model the time-domain
airborne EM response of a conductor below overburden. The intent is that this
program will become freely available to the geophysical community once
completed.

In the past, I have looked at the Reid Mahaffy response on line 15, but I was
wondering if anyone could suggest (or provide) another example that could be
used in a publication to show the capability of the program.

Regards

Richard Smith
