I regret to post that Peter Winterburn, until recently the ACMELabs Research Chair in Exploration Geochemistry at MDRU (UBC) and currently employed with Vale, has died in Chile on Friday, apparently killed in an attempted robbery. On behalf of the SEGMIN community, I extend our deepest condolences to Peter's family.
