Hi Alex,
the tar ball is quite old, in fact. It is definitely a good idea to work from
git. If you want the last stable branch, it would be 1.5.
Concerning the -ldl and --pthread flags, this should be done by Makefile.defs.
However, it would only be the case, if your system is recognized correctly
(done by core/getarch and core/getos). Could you please check that those are
compiled and run correctly?
