I think you're reading the dyno charts wrong. Hotshot and AEBS were very
similar. AEBS has more low end. After the hp peak though, Hotshot had a
lot more. HOwever, in this test, the dyno slut car had a 2.5" mandrel bent
exhaust which will affect numbers. Most people will have 2-2 1/4" exhaust
systems. Where did you get S&S and Stillen doign better than Hotshot? They
didn't. When did Mike test a Stillen?
>But how come in the December SCC, the AEBS header made so much more
>horsepower than the Hotshot both at lowend and highend. The hotshot dips
>below stock at many areas while the AEBS was always above. Judging from the
>dynos on SCC, shouldn't the hotshot be rated second crapiest in all-out
>average gain next to the pacesetter. The AEBS and S&S and even Stillen are
>better than the hotshot. Mike's car did better with the Stillen is due
>probably to the reason that he's done so many work to the engine such as
>increased compression, but for us mildly modded sr20de folks, shouldn't
>AEBS
>give us a better run for the money
