<< I'm upgrading my rim and tires. For the tire I have decided on
Yokohama Paradas sized 205/40/17 all around.>>

<< I have 215/35/18 all around on 18x7.5 inch rims with 40mm offset.>>

I know that winter isn't exactly going to start tomorrow, but why invest
in new tires that won't be put on the car until next spring? Or: why
invest in tires to put on your car now, that could kill you in 2 months
when it DOES start snowing?

I've lived in MA, MO, & AR and have never seen a year-long climate that
allows these huge tire sizes during the winter months.

Either I am one of 10 ppl on this list that doesn't live in CA (read
"any state with a desert climate") or there are a lot of ppl out there
willing to kill themselves in the snow & ice to look "kool".
