1st thank you folks (esp. Dave) for the tip for stalling on going back to idle
problem: cleaning through the throttle body and the AAC valve & solenoid
solved the problem.
another question (I've bought this '92 XE in a rather 'as-is' condition,
without any manuals, and now I'm learning the DOIY car repair thing (its the
first car of my own))
When I turn the ign. switch to 'ON', I can hear 4 (rather long) beeps and the
'check engine' light blinks with the beeps.
I'd put the ECM into diag mode, it said 55 (so OK). Then I'd reset it (as the
Haynes book says). Afterwards the 'check engine' blinking is gone, but the 4
long beeps remain. What the heck is that ? It's quite annoying.
