that's normal (...and annoying) there has been posts discussing how to stop the
beeping, but it involves disconnecting the buzzer which is located behind
the instrument cluster. I have just learned to deal with it, besides that little
buzzer has saved my battery a couple of times already (by telling me "the
lights are on you fool!")
