I have had these in my other car for almost 4 years now and have had no 
problems whatsoever. I do not know about horsepower gains but the car does 
idle and rev smoother. I have heard of initial problems with the wires when 
they were first released, but this has supposedly been fixed and so far mine 
have been running fine.
