<<With the weather changing, I was wondering, what does everyone do for
washing/waxing/ detailing their car during the cold months?>>

Last year was my first year in New England. I sat there watching Thunder
get worse and worse as the winter months rolled by, finally realizing
why all the cars up here rust out.

When winter was over and the car washes opened back up.....yeah, that's
right, opened back up. No one bothered to tell me that the car washes
don't shut down up here during the winter time. Down south, the most
your car would have to go without washing was a week, and then the temp
would rise above freezing again.....no salt down south either. When it
snows more than 3 inches, everything shuts down.

This year, I'm not washing the car (much) during the winter. The paint
job is pretty much in tact and I believe that that should protect it
until spring when she will be repainted anyways, along with the rest of
the stuff the bodyhshop is going to be doing to her :-)
