I know what you mean! I fortunately remove the air condition lines and so
the job was easier. I removed the hoses from the thermo cover and that made
it easy enough. The old gasket was a bitch to remove, but the wire brush on
the grinding machine took it off and polished the area. I used permatex and
its on there forever and I used locktight on the bolts too!
Use a genuine Nissan thermostat or you will do this again and again!
